Product Spotlight – Drying Lotion

I love a good spot treatment.  Since the weather has been changing my skin has been going through the normal changes that happen when it gets cold.  Once I discovered Mario Bedescu’s Drying Lotion I was in love.  It helps treat whiteheads overnight according to the directions.  I get cystic acne, which is the hardest to get rid of.  This drying lotion seems to help with that too if I catch it early enough.  Treatment of breakouts should start as soon as you feel it coming so you can tackle the issue and get rid of it as soon as possible.

First cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin.  To use the drying lotion you dip a Q-tip into the solution, all the way down to the bottle.  Be sure  not to shake it up; when you use it, it has to be undisturbed.  Apply the q-tip to the spot that needs to be treated and leave on overnight.  Rinse off in the morning.

The ingredients are:  Isopropyl Alcohol,Aqua (Water,Eau), Calamine, Camphor,Sulfur, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc,Glycerin, Salicylic Acid.

All of these ingredients are awesome for acne prone skin and help to dry up blemishes.  If you put some of this on a blemish as soon as you feel that thing coming in you can prevent it from getting any larger.

I love this stuff!  I felt some cystic acne and a whitehead coming in last week, used this once, and it was gone in a day and a half.  This will always have a place in my arsenal of skin care.
